This document provides details of features and enhancements made to the release of version 4.7 of the DIKSHA mobile app and portal in February, 2022

Readers of this document can find specific information on DIKSHA’s app and portal 4.7 which focuses on ‘manage learn’ use cases at the consumption side.

New Features and Enhancements

2 | Non editable mandatory tasks | The users can not make any changes to a mandatory task. The users will have to complete a mandatory task without making any changes in description or timelines to be able to complete the project. | School Leaders, Instructional Leaders, Teachers, State admins, Program managers |
3 | Project UI changes | The users can now experience the new UI for projects on the project page. The new UI will be more intuitive and uniform with the existing course UI. | School Leaders, Teachers, Instructional Leaders, State admins |
4 | ‘Start’ Project button | The users will now be able to start the project only after clicking on the button “Start Improvement”. Only after clicking the Start button, users can make changes in the project. | School Leaders, Teachers, Instructional Leaders, State admins |
5 | ‘Submit’ Project | Users have to now ‘Submit’ a project by clicking on the Submit button. Submit button marks the completion of the task and hence users can not make any changes in the project after submitting. | School Leaders, Teachers, Instructional Leaders, State admins |

2 | Observation data capture changes | The user profile data for observation status would now be captured at the point when the observation form is started. Even if at a later point the other submissions are started through different profiles, the data would show up as it was at the time of starting the observation form. | State admins, Program managers and designers |
