This page describes the overall flow of sourcing solution.

All the sourcing activities by a sourcing organization are done through a single “sourcing” portal.

All the contribution activities by contributors (individuals or organization) are done through a single “contribution” portal.

User roles

Administrator of Sourcing Organization

A user can be assigned this role in two ways:

1. Through backend update - as part of the tenant setup for the sourcing organization

2. Any user with admin role of a sourcing org can assign a registered user, the admin role for that sourcing org

A user with admin role can:

1. Create a sourcing project

2. Review nominations for any project

3. Review contributions from contributors for any project

4. Invite users to enroll to the sourcing organization

5. Assign an Admin role to the enrolled users

6. Assign enrolled users to the sourcing projects as creators or reviewers

Creator of a sourcing organization in a sourcing project

This role is specific to each sourcing project. A user can be assigned this role to a sourcing project by an Administrator of the sourcing organization

A user with this role can:

1. Create learning assets within the project(s) to which he/she is assigned.

Reviewer of a sourcing organization in a sourcing project

This role is specific to each sourcing project. A user can be assigned this role to a sourcing project by an Administrator of the sourcing organization

A user with this role can:

1. Review nominations within the project(s) to which he/she is assigned.

2. Review contributions within the project(s) to which he/she is assigned.

Administrator of Contributing Organization

A user becomes administrator of a contributing organization by enrolling the contributing organization (using contribution portal).

A user with an admin role of a contributing organization can:

1. Nominate to sourcing project(s)

2. Invite users to enroll to the contribution organization

3. Assign enrolled users as admin of the contributing org

4. Assign enrolled users to the nominated sourcing projects as creators or reviewers

5. Review contributions of the contributors from his/her organization

Creator of a contributing organization in a sourcing project

This role is specific to each sourcing project. A user can be assigned this role to a sourcing project by an Administrator of the contributing organization

A user with this role can:

1. Create learning assets within the project(s) to which he/she is assigned and whose nominations are accepted

Reviewer of a contributing organization in a sourcing project

This role is specific to each sourcing project. A user can be assigned this role to a sourcing project by an Administrator of the contributing organization

A user with this role can:

1. Review contributions within the project(s) to which he/she is assigned

Individual Contributor

A user becomes individual contributor by enrolling on the contribution portal as an individual contributor.

A user with this role can:

1. Nominate to a sourcing project

2. Create learning assets within the sourcing project(s) whose nominations are accepted
