Test Cases > SB-14698 : Show derived source information on the mobile app when a course is copied

Description

Happy Flow:

  1. Verify that there is a new section "this content is derived from" is displayed below credits and license info in the course TOC page

  2. Verify that the original source course information is displayed in the below format:

Course: <Name of the original course that is copied>
Author of Source Course : <Author of the source course>
License Terms: <License Terms of the source course>
Published on DIKSHA by: <Published on Diksha value from the source course>"
3. Verify that the source course information displayed is same as the data given by the user during creation
4. Verify that this section is displayed in the TOC only for the copied courses
5. Verify that this original source course information is displayed for all copied coourses and copied of copied courses as well

 

Negative flow:

  1. Main content which not copied from any other content will not have this section

Engg team put forth a suggestion where in we have some generic text/Labels displayed for a Course/textbook/Resource, when they are copied. Hence, irrespective of whether it is a Resource/Course/textbook that is copied, the labels in the derived section will remain the same(Portal and mobile). The corresponding ticket and PRD has been updated.

Can you please update the Test scenarios accordingly?

Verified the test scenarios. Though they look okay, minor changes need to be done, as “course” have now been changed to “Training”. I have modified the description of the story accordingly. Thanks
